Blueair 500/600 Series Particle and DualProtection Filters are designed for use with Blueair 500/600 series air purifiers, including the Blueair Classic 605 model, as well as the previous 505, 503, 603 and 650E units. They will also fit most discontinued and non-standard Blueair 500/600 series units such as the 501, 510, 550E, 555EB, 580i, 601, 610B and 680i. It is critical to replace the set of three filters in your Blueair 500/600 series unit every 6 months to maintain optimal cleaning power and preserve your manufacturer’s warranty.

How to Replace the Filters In Your Blueair 500/600 Series Air Purifier

Changing the filters in your Blueair 500/600 Series air purifier is very simple:
1. Unplug your Blueair unit and lift the grille off the top of the air purifier.
2. Remove the top filter from the unit.
3. Remove the filters from the slots on either side of the unit.
4. Vacuum the grillwork using a soft brush attachment (if necessary).
5. Place two of the replacement filters in the side slots of the air purifier so that the side with the words “facing out” is turned towards the outer wall of the unit.
6. Place the third replacement filter in the top of the unit so that the words “facing out” is facing upward.
7. Replace the grille on the top of the Blueair unit.
8. Plug the air purifier back in and turn it on.
9. On the Blueair 505, 605 and 650E, press the filter/timer button on the air purifier for 10 seconds. On the Blueair 503 and 603, hold the reset button on the magnetic timer down for 10 seconds.
