Epurair Replacement Filters and Conversion Kits
Both the Epurair MA-1P (Portable) and Epurair MA-1C (Central) air purifiers use three individual filters:
- A carbon pre-filter [1] that should be vacuumed, washed or replaced every 3-6 months to extend the life of the more expensive HEPA filter. A set of four pre-filters are supplied in the annual replacement kit.
- A VOC carbon filter [3] that should be washed or replaced annually to maintain its effectiveness. This is also supplied in the annual replacement kit.
- A medical-grade HEPA filter [2] that requires replacement every 5 years (or every 3 years in homes with high concentrations of contaminants such as cigarette smoke). This filter is not included in the annual replacement kit and must be purchased separately.
